Overview

The InHand Networks ER805-NRQ3-WLAN is a cloud-managed 5G edge router with Wi-Fi. It connects stores and offices through 5G/4G cellular or wired broadband. The NRQ3 global 5G module supports SA and NSA, with peak rates up to 5.0 Gbps downlink. The router adds five Gigabit Ethernet ports with dual WAN, dual Nano-SIM, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi at 1200 Mbps, and SD-WAN and VPN through InCloud Manager. The metal, fanless IP30 chassis mounts on a desk, bracket or wall.

The InHand Networks ER805 is an edge router that keeps retail stores, branch offices and small businesses online over 5G/4G cellular or wired broadband. This part number, ER805-NRQ3-WLAN, pairs the NRQ3 5G module with built-in Wi-Fi. InHand lists the NRQ3 as a global model for all regions except China and sells it for North America, EMEA/APAC and Oceania/South America. The module is certified with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, alongside CE, FCC, IC and PTCRB.

The NRQ3 module supports 5G SA and NSA on Sub-6 bands, including n2, n5, n12, n25, n41, n66, n71 and n77. Peak rates reach 5.0 Gbps DL / 650 Mbps UL in NSA and 4.2 Gbps DL / 450 Mbps UL in SA. LTE Cat 20/18 fallback delivers up to 2.0 Gbps down. Dual Nano-SIM slots, four SMA 5G antenna connectors and real-time link detection let the router switch between cellular and wired uplinks. It also supports packet-by-packet load balancing.

For the LAN, five 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports support WAN/LAN switching and dual WAN. Wi-Fi is 802.11ac Wave2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 and 5 GHz, rated up to 1200 Mbps. It supports multi-SSID, SSID VLAN, guest mode and a custom splash portal. Firewall throughput is 600 Mbps and IPsec VPN throughput is 100 Mbps, with 100–150 recommended users.

InCloud Manager provides zero-touch deployment, bulk remote upgrades, configuration deployment, SD-WAN networking, Connector remote maintenance and two-factor authentication. Security features include inbound/outbound firewall rules, domain filtering, 802.1X and portal authentication, plus IPsec, L2TP and VXLAN VPN. The metal, fanless housing is rated IP30 and operates from -20 °C to +70 °C on 9–36 V DC.
