About This Device
The InHand IR302 (IR302-FQ38-WLAN) is a purpose-built industrial 4G LTE IoT router for the huge middle of the M2M world: assets that need always-on, secure connectivity but not a rack of equipment. The lte cat 4 radio certified for verizon, at&t, t-mobile, and canadian networks provides the WAN link, and integrated VPN support (IPsec-class tunneling) secures traffic from the asset back to your data center or cloud, so devices in the field are never exposed raw to the internet.
Integrated Wi-Fi extends connectivity wirelessly at the site — serve a local laptop for commissioning, or link nearby equipment without pulling cable. Ethernet connects the local device or small LAN, and the compact ruggedized enclosure (about 0.7 lb) with DIN-rail and wall-mount options disappears into control panels, kiosks, and cabinets.
Operationally, the IR302 is designed for unattended sites. Watchdog-style link keepalive maintains the cellular connection without human help, and remote management lets operations teams see, configure, and update fleets of routers centrally — the difference between managing 500 sites and visiting them.
Because the FQ38 radio is set up for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Canadian networks, one SKU covers North American deployments regardless of which carrier wins the coverage battle at each site. For kiosks, ATMs, EV chargers, meters, industrial machines, and digital signage, the IR302 delivers exactly what distributed assets need: secure, resilient LTE connectivity in a small, panel-friendly box at a fleet-friendly price.
