About This Device
The InHand IR624 (IR624-NRQ3-WLAN-S) is the router to specify when 4G is the bottleneck. As a high-end industrial 5G platform, it delivers ultra-fast, low-latency wireless WAN — the combination that unlocks applications LTE struggles with: high-resolution video backhaul, machine vision data, large telemetry volumes, AR-assisted field work, and control loops that care about milliseconds.
The NRQ3 radio configuration registers on 5G NR networks and falls back to LTE where 5G coverage is still building, so one SKU deploys across mixed territories today and gets faster as carriers expand. Integrated Wi-Fi (WLAN) serves local laptops, tablets, and wireless devices at the site, while wired Ethernet connects controllers and local equipment. The S designation reflects this model's factory hardware option set.
Like the rest of InHand's industrial line, the IR624 is built for unattended field duty: a rugged enclosure around 1.2 lb, panel-friendly installation, secure VPN-capable connectivity, and automatic link maintenance that re-establishes sessions after outages without a site visit. Remote fleet management keeps distributed routers monitored, configured, and updated centrally.
Deploy the IR624 where connectivity is the production asset: smart factory cells streaming quality-inspection video, port and logistics automation, private-5G and public-5G industrial sites, temporary high-bandwidth deployments, and edge locations whose applications simply outgrew LTE. It carries InHand's industrial reliability into the 5G era.
