Overview

The Panorama LPB-6-60-1SP is a low-profile, single-element (SISO) omnidirectional antenna for 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G devices operating from 617–960 and 1710–6000 MHz, including Band 71 600 MHz. It is IP66 rated for outdoor use and rated from -40 °C to +85 °C. The antenna connects through an integrated 1 m double-shielded CS29 cable with an SMA (m) plug. It suits cellular modems, routers and M2M equipment in utility, metering, vending and kiosk applications.

  • Single-element (SISO) omnidirectional antenna for 2G/3G/4G/5G
  • Covers 617–960 / 1710–6000 MHz; Band 71 600 MHz ready
  • Gain: 3 dBi (617–960), 4 dBi (1710–2700), 8 dBi (3400–3800), 9 dBi (4900–6000 MHz)
  • Integrated 1 m double-shielded CS29 cable with SMA (m) plug
  • IP66 rated; -40 °C to +85 °C operating temperature
  • Low-profile 82 mm x 48 mm housing; mast, panel or wall mount
  • One antenna spans 600 MHz low band through 6 GHz, covering current LTE and sub-6 GHz 5G bands
  • Higher gain in the upper bands (8–9 dBi) helps on 3.4–3.8 GHz and 4.9–6 GHz

The Panorama LPB-6-60-1SP is the 1 m cable version of Panorama's LPB-6-60 low-profile antenna, a cost-effective omnidirectional panel-mount antenna for 4G/3G/2G and 5G devices. A single wideband element covers 617–960 MHz and 1710–6000 MHz, and the antenna is Band 71 600 MHz ready. Gain rises with frequency: 3 dBi at 617–960 MHz, 4 dBi at 1710–2700 MHz, 8 dBi at 3400–3800 MHz and 9 dBi at 4900–6000 MHz. Maximum input power is 30 W.

The antenna measures 82 mm tall and 48 mm in diameter. It is IP66 rated for outdoor use and operates from -40 °C to +85 °C, which suits exposed industrial sites as well as domestic installations. It supports mast, panel and wall mounting. For best performance Panorama specifies a conductive ground plane of more than 300 mm (1 ft) in diameter. Alternatively, it can be bracket mounted using Panorama part number B4BE-6-60.

The integrated 5 mm double-shielded CS29 coaxial cable is 1 m long and terminates in an SMA male plug. The short length suits installations where the antenna mounts directly above or beside the modem or router. As a SISO antenna it feeds a single antenna port, so MIMO routers will need one antenna per port. Panorama publishes a datasheet and installation instructions (SW3-205) for the LPB-6-60.

Ideal for

  • Utility and smart metering installations
  • Vending machines and kiosks
  • External antenna for cellular modems and routers in cabinets
  • Industrial and domestic M2M connectivity
