Overview

The Zyxel Nebula LTE7461-M602 (LTE7461N) is an IP68-rated outdoor 4G LTE-Advanced Cat 6 router for sites where fixed-line broadband is weak or unavailable. Two embedded directional antennas of up to 8 dBi per element in a 2x2 MIMO arrangement deliver downloads of up to 300 Mbps. A single Gigabit PoE port powers the unit and connects it to your network. It works in bridge or router mode and is managed from the Nebula cloud platform, with AT&T and Verizon certification.

The Zyxel Nebula LTE7461-M602 is a 3GPP Category 6 LTE-Advanced router with carrier aggregation, built to mount outdoors on a wall or pole. It suits suburban and rural sites, public spots, homes and offices where running a fixed line is difficult. It can serve as the primary internet connection or as a backup WAN that takes over when the fixed line drops. This part number is the Nebula cloud-managed version. Zyxel reserves Nebula cloud management for this model and does not offer it on the on-premise LTE7461-M602.

The radio covers LTE bands 2/4/5/7/12/13/25/26/29/66 with WCDMA bands 2/4/5, peaking at 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up on LTE-FDD. Two embedded directional antennas of up to 8 dBi per element (2x2 MIMO) help hold signal in fringe areas. Installation needs no electrician. Connect a phone or tablet to the router's 2.4 GHz management Wi-Fi and use the free Zyxel Air app to find the best signal spot. The unit then runs from a single IEEE 802.3af/at PoE cable, and a Gigabit PoE injector is included.

The enclosure is rated IP68 against dust and water, withstands Level 12 hurricane-force winds (132 km/h), carries K.21 enhanced-mode 6 kV lightning protection and operates from -40°C to 60°C. For IT teams, Nebula provides remote configuration, monitoring and firmware upgrades over the cellular link, which avoids common NAT issues. The Nebula Mobile App registers a device from its QR code. Local tools include the web GUI, CLI/SSH with key access, SPI firewall with DoS detection, URL filtering, bandwidth management and TR-143 remote throughput testing.
