The AudioCodes Mediant 500L MSBR (M500L-I4S-AGECSLA) is an all-in-one SOHO/SMB router that combines access, data, voice and security in one device. This configuration includes four FXS analog voice ports, ADSL2+/VDSL2 with vectoring, a 1000Base-T WAN port, a dual-mode SFP WAN interface and an internal 3G/4G LTE Cat 4 modem for the Americas. It suits managed data, SIP trunking, hosted PBX and cloud voice services.

The AudioCodes Mediant 500L multi-service business router (MSBR) puts WAN access, routing, voice and security into a single box. It is aimed at small offices and SMBs, and at the service providers who deliver managed data, SIP trunking, hosted PBX and cloud-based services to them. A multi-core architecture keeps performance consistent across services.

This part number, M500L-I4S-AGECSLA, is the four-FXS configuration for the Americas. It offers four WAN paths: - ADSL2+/VDSL2 with vectoring - A 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet WAN port - A dual-mode SFP WAN interface for fiber or copper modules - An internal 3G/4G LTE Cat 4 modem covering North American LTE bands B2, B4, B12 and B13

With several WAN types in one chassis, a site can run its primary circuit over DSL, Ethernet or fiber and keep cellular as a redundant path. This supports survivability and resilience for voice and data.

The four FXS (RJ-11) ports connect analog phones, fax machines and other analog endpoints directly to a hosted or SIP-based voice service. The Mediant 500L therefore works well for POTS replacement and for small sites moving to cloud telephony. A USB port is also provided. The chassis measures 51 x 296 x 160 mm (H x W x D), weighs 670 g and can sit on a desk or mount in a 19-inch rack.
