Each of the four embedded Cat-20 LTE-A Pro modems delivers gigabit-class LTE, and SpeedFusion bonds them into a single logical WAN with per-packet distribution, session-preserving failover, and WAN smoothing for latency-sensitive traffic. When one network fades — a dead zone on the highway, a congested cell at a stadium — traffic continues over the remaining three without dropping calls or streams. Four SIM slots let operators mix carriers deliberately for maximum coverage diversity.
The MBX chassis is built as long-term infrastructure: an upgradable modular design means the LTE modules can give way to 5G as requirements and coverage evolve, avoiding forklift replacement of a vehicle or rack integration. Around the cellular core sit gigabit Ethernet connectivity, an integrated firewall, and full SD-WAN policy control, with fleet management through Peplink's InControl 2 platform.
