The Lantronix NTC-501 is the North America model of the NTC-500 Series 5G industrial IoT router. It supports 3GPP Release 16 5G in both Standalone and Non-Standalone modes, with dynamic slicing, 4G LTE failover and CBRS band n48 for private networks. The router has a 2.5 Gbps LAN port and four SMA antenna connectors in a compact IP41 metal enclosure. It runs on 8-40V DC and operates from -30°C to +70°C. FCC, ISED and PTCRB certified.
The Lantronix NTC-501 (part number NTC-501-01-01) is the North American variant of the NTC-500 Series, a rugged 5G router for Ethernet-based industrial, transportation and smart-city applications. Lantronix lists it for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Bell and UScellular networks. It carries FCC, ISED and PTCRB certification, along with AT&T, Bell, T-Mobile and US Cellular approvals. It covers 5G NR bands n2, n5, n7, n12, n13, n14, n25, n26, n29, n30, n38, n41, n48, n66, n71, n77 and n78, plus 20 LTE bands.
The router is built on 3GPP Release 16 and supports eMBB and uRLLC. It runs in 5G SA and NSA modes with failover to 4G. Theoretical peak speeds are 2.4 Gbps down / 900 Mbps up on 5G SA, 2.5 Gbps / 550 Mbps on 5G NSA and 1.6 Gbps / 200 Mbps on LTE Cat 19/18. 5G Dynamic Slicing, cell lock, up to 6 APNs and up to 8 bearers and traffic classes give carriers and integrators fine control over quality of service. Support for n48 CBRS makes the NTC-501 a practical choice for private 5G networks in industrial, mining and construction sites.
On the wired side, a single 2.5 Gbps LAN port carries that throughput to downstream equipment. Four SMA connectors accept external cellular antennas. Routing covers static, RIP v2, VRRP failover, VLAN management and an IPS firewall against DoS attacks. VPN options are IPSec (up to 5 tunnels), GRE and OpenVPN.
You can manage the router through HTTPS web UI, SSH, SNMP v3, TR-069, LWM2M and SMS. MQTT reporting to Microsoft Azure and AWS, Cumulocity support and Percepxion readiness cover cloud and fleet management. The metal enclosure measures 143.5 x 110.5 x 30 mm and weighs 445 g. It takes 8-40V DC through a terminal block and mounts on a wall or on a DIN rail using the included bracket. Lantronix specifies a 2-year warranty.

Yes. It supports 3GPP Release 16 5G in both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes, with 5G Dynamic Slicing and failover to 4G LTE.
Yes. The NTC-501 supports band n48 (CBRS), and Lantronix positions the NTC-500 Series for private 5G networks in industrial, mining and construction settings.
The box contains the router, a two-way terminal block, a 1 m Ethernet cable, a DIN rail mounting bracket and a welcome card. The router has four SMA ports for external cellular antennas.
It accepts 8-40V DC through a 2-way terminal block. Lantronix recommends a 12V 1.5A supply.
