Peplink PDX Ruggedized Portable Router with Dual 5G Modems

The PDX compresses what used to be a rack of equipment into one transportable unit: a ruggedized enclosure containing two embedded 5G modems for the America region, ready to bond two carrier networks into a single dependable connection wherever the device lands.

Dual 5G is the defining feature. With SIMs from two operators, SpeedFusion technology combines both networks — bonding for throughput, session-preserving failover for resilience, and WAN smoothing for live video and voice. At an incident scene or event site, that means the connection engineering is already done before the team leaves the depot: no single carrier's coverage decides whether the deployment works.

The one-device format is the operational payoff. There is no assembly of router, modems, antennas, and cables on a folding table; the PDX arrives as a unit, powers up, and provides connectivity. The ruggedized build tolerates transport, weather, and field handling in a way desktop network hardware cannot, making it appropriate for emergency management caches, broadcast and production kits, and rapid-deployment enterprise use.

Like the rest of Peplink's portfolio, the PDX manages through InControl 2, so units in the field remain visible to a central operations team, and it participates in larger SpeedFusion architectures where bonded tunnels terminate on enterprise or cloud endpoints.
