About This Device

One modem, however good, is one failure domain. The RUTM52 is Teltonika's answer for deployments that cannot accept that: a dual 5G modem router where two radios attach to two networks simultaneously, and RutOS's multi-WAN engine decides how traffic uses them — active/standby failover for resilience, load distribution across both carriers, or policy routing that pins critical traffic to the healthier path. Each modem supports 5G in both SA and NSA modes with 4G backward compatibility, so the platform spans today's carrier deployments and tomorrow's standalone cores. Provisioning is equally flexible: dual physical SIM slots plus eSIM support mean carrier profiles can be loaded conventionally or delivered electronically, and changed remotely as contracts evolve. The use cases are the demanding end of cellular networking. Critical sites gain true carrier diversity with both networks continuously live — no failover detection gap, no cold-standby surprises. Vehicles and mobile operations hold service as they move between coverage areas, with the second network absorbing what the first drops. High-throughput field operations aggregate two 5G connections where one is not enough. As ever with Teltonika, the industrial software stack comes standard: RutOS firewall, VPN support, and routing policy, with Teltonika RMS providing fleet-wide management. For estates already on RUT-series hardware, the RUTM52 extends the same operational model to dual-radio resilience.
