The SkyMirr Sky5G TCPA117 is a 5G Sub-6 and 4G LTE customer premises router built around SkyMirr's MuLCAT antenna. It uses AI-driven, real-time optimization, which SkyMirr rates for up to 42% farther reach to cell towers. It pairs 4x4 MIMO 5G with Wi-Fi 7 for up to 512 devices, 2.5 Gbps WAN and LAN ports, WAN failover and load balancing, and remote fleet management. It is certified on T-Mobile's 5G network and T-Priority, and is a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree.

The SkyMirr Sky5G TCPA117 is a 5G Sub-6 and 4G LTE wireless router for businesses, rural sites, public-safety teams and anyone who needs fixed broadband where fiber is scarce or the cellular signal is weak. SkyMirr builds the router antenna-first. Its MuLCAT antenna uses AI-driven, real-time optimization and is rated at over 75% efficiency across the full 600 MHz to 6 GHz FR1 range. SkyMirr states up to 42% farther reach to cell towers and twice the coverage area of standard solutions, without any changes to carrier infrastructure.
The cellular side is a 3GPP Release 16 radio with 4x4 MIMO, multi-carrier support and up to 100 MHz of bandwidth, covering a broad set of 5G NR and LTE bands. SkyMirr quotes 5G download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps. The datasheet lists 1.2 Gbps down and 450 Mbps up on a single 100 MHz carrier. The Sky5G is certified for T-Mobile's 5G network and T-Priority, and it also holds UScellular, FCC and PTCRB certifications.
On the LAN side, Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 runs 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz concurrently with 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz. SkyMirr rates it for up to 10 Gbps aggregate, a 311 ft Wi-Fi radius and 512 simultaneous devices. Each band can carry a separate guest network. The router has 2.5 Gbps Ethernet WAN and LAN ports, and it supports failover and load balancing between wired WAN and cellular, so it works as either a primary or a backup link.
For IT teams, the router supports IPSec, SSL and WireGuard VPN, an SPI firewall with ACLs, and URL, MAC and application blocking. Management options include TR-069, a JSON API, zero-touch provisioning and bulk configuration. Dual firmware images with signature-verified updates and watchdog auto-recovery keep remote units running. Optional external SMA antenna ports add flexibility for difficult sites.
