Overview

The Ubiquiti Mobile Router Industrial (UMR-Industrial-US) is a compact, ruggedized, carrier-unlocked LTE Cat 4 router for indoor and outdoor IoT deployments. It combines cellular, Ethernet and Wi-Fi WAN with priority fallback, IPsec and WireGuard site-to-site VPN, GPS, two GbE ports with PoE output, and three power options including 9-30V DC. With its outdoor cover it is IP66 rated, and it operates from -40 to 70 °C.

The Mobile Router Industrial is Ubiquiti's rugged LTE router for IoT, remote infrastructure and outdoor installations. It is carrier unlocked and certified by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, alongside FCC, IC, PTCRB, GCF and Wi-Fi Alliance certification, giving field-operations teams flexibility in carrier choice across the US.

The LTE Cat 4 radio covers bands B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B25, B26, B66 and B71 with rated throughput of 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. Cellular, Ethernet and Wi-Fi can each serve as WAN with priority and fallback, and the router also supports LTE passthrough and Ethernet bridge modes. Security and connectivity tools include OpenVPN and WireGuard clients, IPsec and WireGuard site-to-site VPN, firewall, port forwarding and static routes. Built-in GPS supports location tracking, and 2x2 Wi-Fi 4 on 2.4 GHz serves local devices at up to 300 Mbps.

All antennas are external: two LTE (SMA), one GPS (SMA) and two Wi-Fi (RP-SMA), so they can be swapped for remote-mounted antennas. Two GbE RJ45 ports include one PoE input and one PoE output of up to 10W when powered from a PoE+ switch. Power can also come from USB Type-C (5V, adapter included) or a 4-pin ATX DC input accepting 9-30V DC, suiting vehicles, solar and cabinet installs.

The polycarbonate and aluminum body measures 114.5 x 93.6 x 32 mm without antennas and weighs 360 g. DIN rail, wall and pole mounts are included (1-2 in pole diameter), and with the outdoor cover it reaches IP66 with a -40 to 70 °C operating range. It is NDAA compliant.
