Overview

The Panorama WMM8G-7-38-03NJ is a compact 2x2 MIMO directional panel antenna for 4G/5G LTE routers in fringe coverage areas. It covers 698-960 MHz at 6 dBi and 1710-2170, 2396-2700 and 3400-3800 MHz at 9 dBi, in a UV-stable IP65 housing. This version has 0.3 m leads terminated in N-type female connectors for connecting your own low-loss cable run. It mounts on a wall, a mast or a desk.

The Panorama WMM8G-7-38-03NJ is a high-gain directional 2x2 MIMO antenna for 4G/5G LTE. It houses two separately fed wideband elements, which gives the router client-side MIMO and diversity from a single outdoor panel. Panorama recommends it for rural broadband and fringe network areas where a standard router antenna cannot hold a stable link.

Gain is specified per band: 6 dBi at 698-960 MHz, and 9 dBi at 1710-2170 MHz, 2396-2700 MHz and 3400-3800 MHz. The WMM8G-7-38 is Panorama's upgrade of the WMM8G-7-27, adding the 3.4-3.8 GHz bands used for 5G. The antenna supports 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G LTE technologies.

The -03NJ variant has short 0.3 m CS29 leads ending in N-type female connectors. Mount the panel outside and run a low-loss N-terminated cable to the router. Panorama lists its CS240 (6.1 mm, double screened) and CS400 (10.3 mm, double screened) ultra-low-loss cables as compatible accessories for longer runs.

The rugged, UV-stable, IP65-rated housing measures 230 x 180 x 98 mm, handles up to 20 W input power, and operates from -45°C to +80°C. Wall and mast mounting brackets are provided, and the family also supports desk mounting. Panorama publishes a datasheet and installation instructions (SW3-665) for this antenna.
