Inseego BPC100 Business Phone Connect 4G LTE VoLTE Modem with Battery Backup

The Inseego BPC100 Business Phone Connect is a compact 4G LTE voice and data modem built for businesses and households that want to cut the cord on local phone service. It delivers calls using HD Voice over LTE (VoLTE) on an LTE Cat 4 network, so inbound and outbound calls come through with clear, natural-sounding audio. Inseego positions it for kiosks, construction trailers and small offices where a copper line is unavailable, costly or unreliable.

Three interfaces cover the typical landline workload. An RJ11 port connects a phone or fax machine (fax subject to carrier network support), a dedicated RJ31 port connects security and alarm systems, and an RJ45 Ethernet port handles light data for equipment such as point-of-sale terminals. Two SMA connectors take the included main and diversity antennas, and the modem supports LTE bands B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14 and B66 through a Qualcomm MDM9207 chipset and Quectel EC25-AF module. A-GPS with SUPL is provided for E911.

Power resilience is built in. Three non-rechargeable, user-replaceable AA batteries are included and kick in immediately on power failure, providing up to 3 hours of talk time and 23 hours of standby. Normal power comes through a micro-USB power adapter.

Setup and oversight run through the Inseego web interface, with a multicolor LED for at-a-glance status. The web interface is security hardened, with password hashing, anti-CSRF protection, session timeout, incorrect-password lockout, MAC address filtering, configurable DNS and an admin portal option to block factory reset. The unit measures 4.65 x 3.46 x 1.30 in, weighs 9.59 oz and operates from -4 °F to 140 °F. A datasheet, user guide and quick start guide are available from Inseego. A data plan is required.
