About This Device

The FW2010e extends Inseego's Wavemaker outdoor CPE line with a lighter-weight unit built for the same job: converting outdoor 5G signal into dependable enterprise WAN. Indoor cellular routers lose meaningful signal to building materials; the FW2010e avoids that penalty by terminating the 5G connection outside, where line-of-sight conditions and antenna placement can be optimized during installation rather than compromised by floor plans. Dual SIM support is the operational centerpiece. Load a second carrier profile and the site gains a fallback network if the primary operator has an outage, weak local coverage, or an unfavorable renewal. That flexibility matters most in distributed estates — dozens or hundreds of sites across different coverage maps — where no single carrier wins everywhere. One CPE model, qualified once, can serve the whole footprint. Deployment follows the standard FWA playbook: survey for the best mounting position, install on a wall or pole, and run one cable to the demarcation point indoors. There is no construction permit, no wayleave negotiation, and no multi-week circuit delivery interval. That makes the FW2010e a strong fit for fast site turn-ups, for backup WAN that shares no infrastructure with the wireline path, and for locations where the economics of fiber never work. Ongoing operation is handled remotely through Inseego's management tooling, keeping distributed hardware visible from a central NOC.
