Inseego Wavemaker FX2000e 5G Indoor Router, Dual SIM with Gigabit Ethernet

The FX2000e is the compact workhorse of Inseego's Wavemaker indoor line: a 5G fixed wireless router small enough to sit unnoticed at a checkout counter or in a network closet, but built with the two features that separate business FWA from consumer hotspots — dual SIM redundancy and wired Gigabit Ethernet.

The dual SIM design lets IT load carrier profiles from two operators. If the primary network suffers an outage or degrades at a particular site, the second profile provides a fallback path without hardware changes. For multi-site estates where carrier coverage quality varies block by block, this makes a single router SKU deployable everywhere, with the carrier decision made per site at activation time.

On the LAN side, Gigabit Ethernet WAN and LAN ports integrate the FX2000e cleanly into existing site networks. Feed a downstream firewall or switch, or connect it to an existing router as the cellular failover interface — either way, traffic moves over wired connections rather than depending solely on Wi-Fi. Failover support keeps sessions moving to the cellular path when a primary circuit drops.

Typical deployments include retail sites protecting card processing against cable outages, branch offices adopting 5G as primary WAN, and kiosks or unattended sites that need a self-contained connection. Remote configuration and monitoring through Inseego's management tooling keep distributed units serviceable without travel.
