About This Device

The FX4100 brings Inseego's Wi-Fi 7 FWA platform to the price point where large rollouts happen. It keeps the parts that matter for most sites — a sub-6 GHz 5G modem supporting both NSA and SA modes, automatic 4G LTE fallback, and current-generation Wi-Fi 7 with a 2x2 antenna configuration for local devices — and trims the second SIM slot that committed single-carrier estates rarely use. That combination suits organizations standardizing on one operator: franchise programs under a national carrier agreement, carrier-bundled business internet offerings, and remote-work kits provisioned on a corporate data plan. Each site gets a modern WAN and a modern wireless LAN from one 1.5-pound box that installs with power and a SIM, with no outside cabling and no coordination with a wireline provider. SA-mode support deserves attention even in a value-tier router: as carriers migrate services to standalone 5G cores, SA-capable hardware avoids a forced refresh cycle. Meanwhile LTE fallback covers the practical present, holding sites online wherever 5G coverage is still filling in. Operationally, the FX4100 follows the same playbook as the rest of Inseego's indoor line — remote configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting through cloud management — so mixed fleets of FX4100 and FX4200 units run under one operational model, with the dual-SIM FX4200 reserved for sites that justify carrier redundancy.
