About This Device
The RUT241 earns its place in thousands of industrial deployments by doing the essential job — dependable cellular WAN with failover — in the smallest practical industrial package. This 033000 configuration is the global variant with a universal PSU, aimed at estates that span regions and want one router SKU everywhere.
The hardware covers the standard machine-connectivity brief. Cat 4 LTE provides downlink service in the 150 Mbps class, ample for telemetry, transactions, video snapshots, and remote management. Two Fast Ethernet ports wire in local equipment or an upstream circuit, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi serves nearby laptops and devices during commissioning or operation. When the wired WAN fails, the router shifts traffic to cellular automatically — the core function that keeps kiosks and cabinets online through circuit trouble.
RutOS is the differentiator against commodity gateways. Teltonika's firmware brings an integrated firewall, broad VPN support, and granular routing and access control, with fleet operation handled through Teltonika RMS — remote configuration, monitoring, and firmware management across every deployed unit from one console.
The global band configuration plus universal PSU makes this the variant to standardize on for multinational rollouts: one part number to certify, stock, and ship, whichever country the next site is in. For North America-only estates, the US-PSU 098000 variant covers the same role with regional packaging.
