Overview

The Teltonika RUT241 is a compact, industrial 4G LTE Cat 4 router for IoT and M2M deployments. It delivers up to 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up, with 3G and 2G fallback, Wi-Fi 4 access point and hotspot functions, one WAN and one LAN Ethernet port, and a digital input and output. Order code RUT241033000 is the Global hardware version with a single Mini SIM slot and no eSIM, supplied in the standard package with a universal 9 W power supply, antennas and an Ethernet cable.

The Teltonika RUT241 is a compact, industrial-grade cellular router built for IoT and M2M connectivity. Order code RUT241033000 is the Global hardware version in the standard package with a universal power supply. It uses one physical Mini SIM (2FF) slot. It is not one of the eSIM variants, which Teltonika sells under separate order codes.

The LTE Cat 4 module supports up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, with fallback to 3G (up to 21 Mbps down) and 2G. This hardware version covers LTE-FDD bands B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26 and B28, and LTE-TDD bands B38 to B41. Two SMA connectors take the included LTE antennas. Local devices connect over 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi 4), with up to 50 simultaneous users, or over the 10/100 Mbps WAN and LAN ports. Mobile, wired, Wi-Fi WAN and VRRP links can each act as an automatic failover, and load balancing spreads traffic across multiple WANs.

RutOS, Teltonika's OpenWrt-based Linux OS, provides a stateful firewall, VLANs, 802.1x, a captive-portal hotspot, and dynamic routing with BGP, OSPF, RIP and EIGRP. VPN options include OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, DMVPN, GRE, L2TP, SSTP and Tinc. For industrial and building systems it supports Modbus TCP, MQTT, BACnet/IP, OPC UA, DNP3 and DLMS. Data can be pushed to AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, Cumulocity and ThingWorx. Fleets are managed through Teltonika RMS, TR-069, SNMP or the Web API.

The aluminium housing measures 83 x 25 x 74 mm and weighs 125 g. The router operates from -40 °C to 75 °C and is rated IP30. It runs on 9 to 30 VDC through a 4-pin connector, or on passive PoE via LAN1, and draws under 6.5 W. DIN rail, wall and flat-surface mounting are available with an additional kit.

No. RUT241033000 is the Global hardware version without eSIM and uses one physical Mini SIM (2FF) slot. Teltonika offers eSIM versions of the RUT241 under separate order codes.

What LTE bands does this version support?

LTE-FDD B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26 and B28, plus LTE-TDD B38, B39, B40 and B41. It also supports 3G on B1, B2, B4, B5, B6, B8 and B19, and 2G on B2, B3, B5 and B8.

How can the RUT241 be powered?
