Overview

The Cradlepoint L950 is a compact indoor LTE adapter that adds cellular failover, day-1 connectivity and out-of-band management to an existing branch router or SD-WAN. This TAA-compliant North American package (TAA-BB01-0950C7A-N0) pairs the L950 hardware with a 1-Year NetCloud Branch LTE Adapter Essentials Plan. It has a Cat 7 LTE modem rated at 300 Mbps down and 150 Mbps up, dual 4FF SIM slots, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The adapter is powered over 802.3af PoE. A PoE injector is not included in this SKU.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint L950 is built for sites that cannot afford to go dark when the primary circuit fails. It sits alongside your existing router or SD-WAN appliance and brings up an LTE connection based on the failover policies you define. It can also carry traffic from day one while a terrestrial link is still being installed. When the wired link comes online, the adapter falls back into backup mode. This SKU is the TAA-compliant ordering option for U.S. Federal Government buyers and includes a 1-Year NetCloud Branch LTE Adapter Essentials Plan.

The embedded Cat 7 modem supports 2x2 MIMO and carrier aggregation for up to 300 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink. It covers North American LTE bands including B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66 and B71, plus CBRS Band 48 for private LTE. Dual 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection let the adapter connect to two carriers. Its two LAN/WAN-switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports are rated at 940 Mbps in IP Passthrough, NAT and captive modem modes. The data sheet lists FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public-safety certifications.

NetCloud Manager handles zero-touch deployment, configuration, software updates and monitoring for the full subscription term. It manages the router and the adapter as a single entity. Advanced Out-of-Band Management lets administrators reach the adapter and in-line devices over the air, even when IP and Ethernet are unavailable on the router. NetCloud Verify guides installers to the best signal placement. The Essentials plan includes 24x7 support, and the hardware carries a limited lifetime warranty while an active NetCloud subscription is in place. Is a PoE injector included?

No. This SKU includes the L950 and two paddle antennas. The adapter needs an 802.3af PoE source, either a PoE switch port or an optional injector. The TAA-BB01-0950C7A-NC SKU includes a PoE injector and line cord.
