Overview

The Cradlepoint S750 is a semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed Cat 4 LTE router for light industrial, IoT, vehicle and portable deployments. It is the S700-series configuration without Wi-Fi. This TAA-compliant package for U.S. Federal Government ordering includes 3 years of Ericsson NetCloud IoT Essentials and Advanced plans. It pairs a dual-SIM LTE modem rated up to 150 Mbps down with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and active GNSS. The IP30 aluminum housing is rated to MIL-STD-810H and EN 61373 vibration and shock standards.

The Cradlepoint S750 is part of Ericsson Cradlepoint's S700 series of semi-ruggedized routers for IoT networks. It is built for light industrial, IoT and portable applications where security is a foundational requirement. Part number TAA-TBA3-0750C4D-NA is the TAA-compliant U.S. Federal Government ordering option. It combines the S750 hardware, a Cat 4 (150 Mbps) configuration without Wi-Fi, with a 3-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan and NetCloud IoT Advanced plan.

Connectivity comes from an embedded Cat 4 LTE modem with dual 4FF SIM slots and SIM-based auto-carrier selection. Peak LTE rates are 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up, with DC-HSPA+ fallback. The North American modem configuration covers LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71. It lists AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon certification plus FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports switch between LAN and WAN. A USB 2.0 port supports a locking USB RS232 adapter connection. Active GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo for asset tracking and geofencing.

The aluminum housing is rated IP30. It operates from -20 °C to 60 °C and accepts 9-33 VDC. Power protection covers reverse polarity and transients (ISO 7637-2), and ignition sensing handles vehicle installs. The unit is certified to SAE J1455 vehicle vibration, EN 61373 rail and MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock standards. Calculated MTBF for the S750-C4D is 483,373 hours.

NetCloud Manager provides cloud-based device management and software updates for the full 3-year term. Essentials includes 24x7 support and a limited lifetime warranty that applies while an active NetCloud subscription is in place.
