Overview

The Cisco C1111-8PLTEEA-DNA is an ISR 1100 Series branch router built for sites that need more wired ports. It pairs an embedded dual-SIM LTE Advanced (CAT6) modem with two Gigabit WAN ports, one of them a copper/SFP combo, and an 8-port Gigabit LAN switch. It runs Cisco IOS XE or IOS XE SD-WAN, managed by Cisco DNA Center or vManage. The LTEEA variant is built for North America and EMEAR.

The Cisco ISR C1111-8PLTEEA-DNA brings routing, an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and an embedded LTE Advanced CAT6 modem together in one desktop or rack-mountable chassis. It is aimed at branch offices, retail stores, clinics and campus outbuildings that need enterprise routing, security and cellular resilience alongside more local ports than a 4-port model offers. The LTEEA designation marks the North America and EMEAR radio variant.

The WAN side provides one copper Gigabit port and one copper/SFP combo port. The LTE modem supports two SIMs and two external antennas. It covers LTE 700, 800, 850, 900, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2300, 2500 and 2600, with UMTS, HSPA+ and DC-HSPA+ fallback. Cisco rates the router at up to 1800 Mbps IPv4 forwarding and 600 Mbps IPsec (512B) in autonomous mode. In SD-WAN mode it reaches up to 650 Mbps IPsec across as many as 200 overlay tunnels. It has 4 GB of DRAM and 4 GB of flash, and supports 280K IPv4 routes, 100K NAT sessions and 1K VRFs.

You can run Cisco IOS XE (16.6.1 or later) with Cisco DNA Center for central provisioning, or IOS XE SD-WAN managed by vManage. IP Base is the default licence. Optional licences add further capabilities: - Application Experience: MPLS, NBAR2, AVC - Security: zone-based firewall, DMVPN, FlexVPN, GETVPN - IPsec Performance: an extra 200 Mbps of IPsec on this 8-port platform

Optional PoE uses the 150W ISR-1100-POE4 power supply, which powers 4 PoE or 2 PoE+ devices. Maximum draw is 23.9W. The chassis is 1.75 in tall and weighs 4.5 lb. It also includes a Micro-USB/RJ-45 console port and a USB 3.0 Type A port.
