Overview

The Panorama Great White LG-IN2457-LC is a low-profile 5-in-1 vehicle dome antenna that combines 2x2 MIMO 4G/5G cellular, 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi and an active GPS/GNSS module in one black housing rated IP69K and IK10. It ships with 5 m flame-retardant RG174 extension cables supplied loose rather than factory-fitted, terminated in SMA (m) for cellular and GNSS and RP-SMA for Wi-Fi, ready to connect to an in-vehicle router.

The LG-IN2457-LC is the black, loose-cable version of Panorama's Great White 5G dome, configured with five functions: two cellular elements for 2x2 MIMO 4G/5G, two Wi-Fi elements for 2x2 MIMO, and one GPS/GNSS module. Panorama designs it as an all-in-one antenna for in-vehicle routers, and rates it as suitable for FirstNet in the USA and ESN in the UK, which makes it a strong fit for public-safety, utility and fleet vehicles that need cellular, onboard Wi-Fi and location from a single roof penetration.

The cellular elements cover 617–960 MHz and 1427–6000 MHz, with published gain of 5 dBi at 617–960 MHz, 9 dBi at 1710–3800 MHz and 10 dBi at 4900–6000 MHz, including Band 71 600 MHz. The pattern is omnidirectional and maximum input power is 20 W. The integrated GNSS module supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Compass with a 26 dB LNA and filtering for LTE Bands 13/14 to reduce in-band interference. Wi-Fi elements cover 2.4 GHz and 4.9–7.2 GHz.

Mechanically, the dome stands 75 mm (2.95 in) tall with a 180 mm (7.09 in) diameter and is ground-plane independent, so it can be panel mounted on conductive or non-conductive surfaces. The halogen-free, flame-retardant radome meets IP69K for ingress protection and IK10 for vandal resistance, and it operates from -40 °C to +80 °C. The FR RG174 cables comply with UN ECE R118 and EN45545-2. Panorama publishes a datasheet and installation instructions for this range.

What does the -LC suffix mean?

LC indicates the 5 m extension cables are supplied loose. The LG-IN2457 without the suffix has the same antenna with cables fitted.
