The Galaxy S26 is the compact model in Samsung's current Galaxy S line. SM-S942UZKAXAA is the unlocked US version in Black with 128GB of storage, a capacity suited to users who keep most files in the cloud. It shares the S26's core hardware: the Exynos 2600 octa-core processor (4.74GHz and 3.6GHz cores) with 12GB of memory, a redesigned vapor chamber for up to 29% better heat dissipation, and an NPU that Samsung rates 38% stronger for on-device AI.
The 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display refreshes at up to 120 Hz. Samsung quotes a peak brightness of 2600 nits. The rear camera system combines a 50 MP wide camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide and a telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. It records video at up to 8K 30fps. The 12 MP front camera has autofocus. Galaxy AI on One UI 8.5 adds Photo Assist, Now Nudge, Now Brief and Circle to Search, and you choose whether AI processing happens on the device or in the cloud.
The phone is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 167 g. It pairs an Armor Aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back and an IP68 rating. The 4,300 mAh (typical) battery reaches up to 69% in about 30 minutes with fast wired charging. A charger is not included.
For business deployments, the S26 supports Samsung DeX, Knox and Knox Matrix, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be, 6 GHz, 4096-QAM), USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Bluetooth 5.4. It is dual SIM, with a nano-SIM plus eSIM or dual eSIM, and supports a broad set of LTE and 5G Sub-6 bands including n41, n71 and n77. Security updates are published through 28 February 2033.
