The Samsung Galaxy S26 512GB in Black (model code SM-S942UZKFXAA) is the unlocked US version of the smallest Galaxy S26. It suits professionals and prosumers who want flagship performance in a 167g, 7.2mm-thin phone. It runs Android with One UI 8.5 on the octa-core Exynos 2600, clocked at up to 4.74GHz. Samsung cites a 38% boost to the NPU for Galaxy AI. A redesigned vapor chamber provides up to 29% better heat dissipation, which helps the processor sustain performance under load.
The 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display runs at 2340 x 1080 (FHD+) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of 2600 nits. The rear camera system combines a 50MP wide lens, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra wide, with up to 30x digital zoom and 8K video recording at 30fps. With 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage (480.2GB available), there is room for large apps, offline files and high-resolution video.
For connectivity, the S26 has software-enabled 5G sub-6GHz bands including n41, n71, n77 and n78, along with broad LTE coverage. It also offers Wi-Fi 802.11be across 2.4, 5 and 6GHz, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1. It takes one nano-SIM plus eSIM, or two eSIMs, so users can carry a work line and a personal line on one device. Samsung DeX support lets the phone drive a desktop-style workspace.
The Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back sit behind an IP68 rating. Knox Vault stores data processed by Galaxy AI in encrypted form on the device, and users decide whether AI features run on the device or in the cloud. Fast wired charging reaches up to 69% in around 30 minutes. The box includes the phone, a data cable and an ejection pin. A charger is not included.
