The iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB in Glacier (Apple part number MJW74LL/A) is the US configuration of Apple's 6.9-inch Pro iPhone. It is built for professionals, creators and field teams who need a phone that handles demanding apps, heavy camera work and full days away from a charger. The A20 Pro chip combines a 6-core CPU with 2 super cores and 4 efficiency cores, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. A next-generation vapor chamber cools the chip under sustained AI and graphics workloads.
The 48MP Fusion Main camera adds a variable aperture from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0 for better low-light photos and video and more control over depth of field. It works alongside a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and a 48MP Fusion Telephoto with 4x and 8x optical-quality zoom. Video capture includes 4K Dolby Vision at up to 120 fps, ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2 and Genlock support. The 18MP Center Stage front camera keeps people framed on video calls.
For connectivity, the phone supports 5G sub-6 GHz and mmWave with 4x4 MIMO, and Gigabit LTE. The Apple N1 chip provides Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. The iPhone 18 Pro Max uses dual eSIM only, with two active eSIMs, and does not accept a physical SIM card. Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages and Find My all work via satellite.
Apple rates battery life at up to 30 hours of typical use and up to 45 hours of video playback, 6 hours more than iPhone 17 Pro Max. With a 60W-capable adapter, the phone reaches up to 50% charge in around 15 minutes. The aluminum unibody has a Ceramic Shield 2 front and a Ceramic Shield back and is rated IP68. The box includes the phone and a 1 m USB-C Charge Cable. A power adapter is not included.
