Apple calls this its longest battery life in an iPhone. It is rated for up to 30 hours of typical use and up to 45 hours of video playback, which is up to 6 more hours than iPhone 17 Pro Max. Charging is faster too. A 60W-capable adapter or higher can reach 50% in around 15 minutes over USB-C. MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging run at up to 25W.

The 48MP Fusion Main camera has a variable aperture from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4.0 for better low-light photos and video and greater depth of field. It works alongside a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and a 48MP 4x Fusion Telephoto, giving an 8x optical-quality zoom and a 16x optical-quality zoom range. Connectivity covers 5G sub-6 GHz and mmWave, and the Apple N1 chip adds Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. USB-C supports USB 3 at up to 10Gb/s with DisplayPort output. The phone uses Dual eSIM only and does not accept physical SIM cards. Emergency SOS, Messages, Roadside Assistance and Find My all work via satellite.
