Verizon's network is the standard for much of North American IoT, and this Skyus SC configuration is provisioned for it end to end. Devices arrive ready for Verizon activation, which collapses fleet logistics into one repeatable process — one certification, one provisioning flow, one carrier support relationship — across every site in the deployment.

The hardware is Inseego's industrial-grade Skyus SC gateway modem: a compact, rugged unit roughly 2.4 inches deep and under half an inch tall, drawing little power and connecting to its host over USB with plug-and-play behavior. A built-in connection manager maintains the link on unattended hosts, and integrated GPS adds location to the data stream — valuable for mobile assets, distributed infrastructure, and any application where knowing where a device is matters as much as reaching it.

Typical roles mirror the rest of the SC family. As a primary WAN, the modem connects equipment beyond the reach of wireline service: cabinets, machines, kiosks, and vehicles. As a failover leg, it gives SD-WAN branch appliances an economical Verizon path that takes over when the wired circuit drops.
