Overview

The Cradlepoint S700 (TB03-0700C4D-NA) is a semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed LTE router for light industrial, IoT and portable deployments in the U.S. and Canada. It pairs an embedded Cat 4 modem (150 Mbps down, 50 Mbps up) with dual SIM slots, 2x2 dual-band Wi-Fi 6, two switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports and active GNSS in an IP30 aluminum housing. It runs on 9-33 VDC with ignition sensing. The package includes a 3-year Ericsson NetCloud IoT Essentials plan. This router-only configuration ships without the AC power supply and antennas.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint S700 is a semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed LTE router for light industrial, IoT and portable applications where security is a foundational requirement. This North American SKU (U.S. & Canada) bundles the S700 hardware with a 3-year Ericsson NetCloud IoT Essentials plan, which provides cloud management, software updates and support for the full term.

Connectivity comes from an embedded Cat 4 LTE modem with peak rates of 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink. It covers LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 66 and 71 and has dual 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection. The modem carries AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon network operator certifications, plus FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications. On the local side you get dual-radio, concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 MIMO, up to 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz) with WPA3 support. There are also two Gigabit RJ45 ports switchable between LAN and WAN, a USB 2.0 port and an SMA connector for active GNSS covering GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo.

The 123 x 118 x 34 mm aluminum housing is rated IP30 and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C. It is tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration methods, SAE J1455 vehicle vibration and EN 61373 rail standards. Power input is 9-33 VDC with reverse polarity and transient protection (ISO 7637-2) and ignition sensing, so the router suits vehicle installs as well as fixed cabinets.

NetCloud Manager handles policy definition and deployment at scale. The NetCloud SDK and API let you extend functionality, and NetCloud Exchange and NetCloud IoT Advanced are available as add-ons. This configuration is the router with Wi-Fi only, so plan antennas and power for your installation.
