Overview

The Cisco Meraki MG41 is an IP67-rated Cat 18 LTE-A Pro cellular gateway. It delivers up to 1.2 Gbps down and 150 Mbps up through four internal antennas with 4x4 downlink MIMO. Dual nano SIM slots support automatic SIM failover, and the modem handles five-carrier aggregation, private LTE (CBRS) and FirstNet band 14. Two Gigabit ports hand off to any router, and the gateway is managed from the Meraki dashboard for primary or backup WAN.

The Meraki MG41 converts LTE service into an Ethernet uplink for a Meraki MX or any other router. It is built for sites where cellular carries real production traffic, not just backup. Its embedded Cat 18 LTE-A Pro modem is rated up to 1.2 Gbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink, with downlink carrier aggregation up to 5CA, uplink 2CA, and 4x4 downlink MIMO across four internal antennas. Band coverage spans 30 LTE bands, including B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B25, B26, B29, B30, B41, B48 CBRS, B66 and B71. Cisco Meraki lists PTCRB, RCM and GCF certification, and certified carriers include AT&T, AT&T FirstNet (capable), Verizon and T-Mobile.

Two nano SIM slots support automatic SIM failover. You can switch SIMs and set custom APNs from the dashboard or the local status page. One dedicated Gigabit LAN port and one convertible LAN/WAN Gigabit port let two routers share the link. The IP67 enclosure mounts on a wall, ceiling or pole with the included bracket and operates from -30°C to 50°C. It runs on 12 V DC or 802.3af PoE (10 W maximum), so you can place it for the best signal with one cable.

The Meraki cloud handles the rest: • Zero-touch provisioning and scheduled firmware updates • Live IMEI, ICCID, APN, RSRP and RSRQ, plus carrier aggregation status • Alerts, remote packet capture and DM logging • Extensive API support

Each gateway is paired with a Meraki MG41 Enterprise licence (1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years). The hardware carries a lifetime warranty with next-day advance replacement.
