The Cradlepoint E3000 packs an embedded 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6, PoE switching, routing and security into one metal enterprise branch router. This TAA-compliant FIPS 140-3 variant (TAA-BFA1-30005GB-FN) is offered for U.S. Federal Government ordering. It includes a 1-year NetCloud Enterprise Branch Essentials + Advanced package covering cloud management, support and software updates, with zone-based firewall, intrusion prevention and threat protection.

The Cradlepoint E3000 is an all-in-one enterprise branch router. It combines routing, security, PoE switching and Wi-Fi 6 with an embedded 5G modem, so a fixed office, clinic, bank branch or retail store can come online on day one without waiting for a wired circuit. Part number TAA-BFA1-30005GB-FN pairs the E3000-5GB hardware with a 1-year Ericsson NetCloud Enterprise Branch Essentials + Advanced package. It is the TAA-compliant FIPS 140-3 variant offered for U.S. Federal Government ordering, and its FIPS 140-3 Level 1 module is listed as in process.

The embedded 5GB modem supports 5G FR1 in NSA and SA modes with LTE Advanced Pro Category 20 and dual 2FF SIM slots. Peak rates reach up to 4.14 Gbps downlink and 660 Mbps uplink, and four external 600 MHz–6 GHz paddle antennas are included. An MC400 modular modem slot adds a second cellular connection. Connection Manager runs wired and wireless WAN links from a single policy, so a wired broadband primary can fail over to 5G or LTE.

On the LAN side, the router has nine Gigabit ports, one 2.5GbE port and one 10GbE SFP+ port, all LAN/WAN switchable. It adds four 802.3bt PoE ports (up to 90 W each, 140 W total budget) and 4x4 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 at up to 2,400 Mbps on 5 GHz.
