Asia-Pacific offers some of the world's best 5G - and some of the world's most signal-hostile buildings. Dense urban construction, metal-clad industrial facilities, and energy-efficient glazing routinely strip mid-band 5G to unusable levels indoors, even in markets like Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore where outdoor coverage is excellent. The W1855 resolves the mismatch by mounting outside: its weatherized enclosure lives on an exterior wall or mast year-round, captures the signal at full strength, and feeds the connection indoors over Ethernet to the firewall, router, or SD-WAN appliance the site already operates. The 5GC modem falls back to 4G LTE automatically outside metro 5G footprints, and a 4FF SIM activates the carrier with the best coverage in each market.
