The FWF-50G-5G-II-A-BDL-80912 bundle combines FortiWiFi 50G-5G-II hardware (Region Code A) with a 12-month FortiCare Premium and FortiGuard Enterprise Protection term under bundle code 809. It suits branch and distributed sites that want the appliance and its security services licensed together under one SKU.

The Enterprise Protection bundle includes IPS with malicious/botnet URL blocking and anti-malware protection. That protection covers AV, botnet domains, mobile malware, virus outbreak protection, content disarm and reconstruct, AI-based heuristic AV and FortiGate Cloud Sandbox. The bundle also adds URL, DNS and video filtering, anti-spam, AI-based inline malware prevention, data loss prevention and attack surface security with IoT device detection and virtual patching. Application control, inline CASB, FortiConverter one-time configuration conversion and FortiCare Premium complete the package.

The hardware is a desktop FortiGate built on Fortinet's SD-WAN-based ASIC and running FortiOS, with SD-WAN and the network controller included. An embedded Telit Cinterion FN990A28-HP 5G modem with two nano-SIM slots (active/passive) covers 5G NR, LTE and UMTS bands. Fortinet lists PTCRB, AT&T and Verizon certification and FirstNet capability, with T-Mobile targeted for Q4 26. Five GE RJ45 ports (1 WAN, 3 LAN, 1 FortiLink), 2x2 MU-MIMO 802.11ax Wi-Fi at up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz, USB, console, TPM and BLE round out the unit.
