The Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR1700 is a Gigabit-class LTE router built for vehicles. It gives field forces, transit and public safety fleets persistent connectivity for everything on board, and it lets IT manage the router remotely. This part number, MA1-1700120B-NNA, is the North America (U.S. and Canada) Cat 18 configuration with Wi-Fi. It is bundled with a 1-year Ericsson NetCloud Mobile Essentials plan.

The embedded 1200M-B modem is Cat 18 LTE Advanced Pro. It uses 4x4 MIMO, 5-carrier downlink aggregation, dual 2FF SIM slots with SIM-based carrier selection, and CBRS Band 48 for private cellular. The IBR1700 is an LTE router. An MC400 modular modem slot adds a second modem for multi-carrier connectivity, and the router can act as controller for a Cradlepoint 5G adapter when 5G is needed. The metal chassis is rated IP64 and tested to MIL-STD-810G and SAE J1455. It operates from -30 °C to 70 °C on 9-36 VDC, with ignition sensing and reverse-polarity protection.

NetCloud Mobile Essentials provides NetCloud Manager, continuous router and modem software updates, and 24x7 support for the full term. The router is covered by a limited lifetime warranty while an active NetCloud plan is in place. You can add NetCloud Mobile Advanced at any time for threat management, web filtering and coverage maps.
