The Cradlepoint R920 (TAA-MAA1-0920-C7A-NA) is a ruggedized, metal-housed LTE router for vehicles and mobile operations. It pairs an embedded Cat 7 LTE modem (300 Mbps down, 150 Mbps up) and dual SIM slots with dual-band Wi-Fi 6, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, Bluetooth LE 5.1 and active multi-constellation GNSS. The router is rated IP64, operates from -30 °C to 75 °C and has ignition sensing. This TAA-compliant U.S. Federal Government SKU includes a 1-year NetCloud Mobile Essentials + Advanced plan. It ships without an AC power supply or antennas.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint R920 is a ruggedized LTE networking platform for public safety fleets, government vehicles, transit and field operations teams that need dependable connectivity on the move. This part number, TAA-MAA1-0920-C7A-NA, is the TAA-compliant U.S. Federal Government ordering option. It bundles the R920 Cat 7 hardware with a 1-year NetCloud Mobile Essentials + Advanced plan.

The embedded Cat 7 LTE modem uses 2-carrier aggregation to reach 300 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink. It has dual 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection and 2x2 MIMO. The North American band set covers B2, B4, B5, B7, B12, B13, B14, B25, B26, B66, B71, B41, B42, B43 and B48 (CBRS). The modem is certified on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon and supports FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline. Inside the vehicle, 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 runs concurrently on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and supports WPA3. The router also provides two switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports, a locking USB 2.0 port, GPIO and embedded Bluetooth LE 5.1.

The R920 is built for vehicle duty. It accepts 9-36 VDC with ignition sensing and carries IP64, E-Mark, SAE J1455, EN 61373 rail, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and Class I Div 2 hazardous-location ratings. Active GNSS tracks GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS, which supports NetCloud coverage maps and location history. Rated performance includes 940 Mbps stateful firewall throughput, 200 Mbps IPsec VPN, 20 VPN tunnels and up to 64 VLANs. A dual-core ARMv8 processor can run Docker containers at the edge.

The NetCloud plan provides NetCloud Manager cloud management and software updates for the full term. Essentials packages include 24x7 support and a limited lifetime hardware warranty while the subscription is active. The RX20 Managed Accessory can add a second LTE or 5G modem and a serial port.
