Overview

The Cradlepoint E300 is an all-in-one branch router with an embedded 5G modem, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, five LAN/WAN-switchable Gigabit Ethernet ports and a 10 GbE SFP+ port. This part number bundles the router with a 1-Year Ericsson NetCloud Enterprise Branch Essentials Plan. It is the TAA-compliant U.S. Federal Government ordering option, built for agencies and contractors that need day-one connectivity, VPN security and cellular-optimized SD-WAN at pop-up sites, branches, stores and clinics.

The Cradlepoint E300 (part number TAA-BF01-03005GB-GN) pairs an E300 enterprise router in its 5G with Wi-Fi configuration with a 1-Year Ericsson NetCloud Enterprise Branch Essentials Plan. It is the TAA-compliant SKU for U.S. Federal Government ordering. Ericsson positions the E300 for temporary locations, branches, stores and clinics. Routing, security and Wi-Fi share one compact enclosure, so a site can go live on 5G from day one without waiting for a wired circuit.

The embedded 5G modem supports 5G FR1 in NSA and SA modes, with LTE Advanced Pro Category 20 fallback. Peak rates reach up to 4.14 Gbps downlink and 660 Mbps uplink. It has dual 2FF SIM slots, 4x4 MIMO and four included 600 MHz to 6 GHz paddle antennas. The modem holds AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon certifications, plus FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline public safety certifications, and supports private cellular on CBRS Band 48. An MC400 modular modem slot adds a second modem for dual cellular. The E300 can also act as a controller for Cradlepoint 5G Wideband Adapters.

On the wired side, all five GbE RJ45 ports and the 10 GbE SFP+ port are LAN/WAN switchable. You can terminate a broadband link and keep cellular as failover, or run the site entirely on wireless. The dual-band 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 radio supports WPA3. Rated performance includes a 940 Mbps stateful firewall, 940 Mbps IPS and application-aware services, 400 Mbps IPsec VPN, 20 concurrent VPN tunnels and up to 64 VLANs, sized for about 50 typical clients.

The Essentials package covers NetCloud Manager device management and software updates for the full term. It also includes 24x7 support: 24-hour phone support on weekdays with weekend emergency response, 24x7 web and 24x5 chat. The hardware carries a limited lifetime warranty while the subscription is active, and NetCloud Enterprise Branch Advanced can be added at any time.
