The FWF-50G-5G-II-A-BDL-80936 bundle combines FortiWiFi 50G-5G-II hardware (Region Code A) with a 36-month FortiCare Premium and FortiGuard Enterprise Protection term under bundle code 809. It suits organisations standardising branch sites on a multi-year security and support term from the start.

Enterprise Protection includes IPS with malicious/botnet URL blocking and anti-malware protection. That protection covers AV, botnet domains, mobile malware, virus outbreak protection, content disarm and reconstruct, AI-based heuristic AV and FortiGate Cloud Sandbox. The bundle also adds URL, DNS and video filtering, anti-spam, AI-based inline malware prevention, data loss prevention and attack surface security with IoT device detection, vulnerability correlation and virtual patching. Application control, inline CASB, the FortiConverter one-time configuration conversion service and FortiCare Premium complete the package.

The appliance runs FortiOS on Fortinet's SD-WAN-based ASIC, with SD-WAN and the network controller included. The embedded Telit Cinterion FN990A28-HP 5G modem has two nano-SIM slots (active/passive) and supports 5G NR, LTE and UMTS bands. Fortinet lists PTCRB, AT&T and Verizon certification and FirstNet capability, with T-Mobile targeted for Q4 26. Five GE RJ45 ports (1 WAN, 3 LAN, 1 FortiLink), 2x2 MU-MIMO 802.11ax Wi-Fi at up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz, USB, console, TPM and BLE complete the hardware.
