Overview

The Cradlepoint S400 (TBT3-0400-C6-LA-M) is a cloud-managed, semi-ruggedized LTE Cat 6 router for IoT deployments in Mexico. It pairs an embedded dual-SIM modem rated to 300 Mbps download with Wi-Fi 5, Gigabit Ethernet, GNSS and an expansion slot for serial, GPIO or extra Ethernet. The bundle includes a 3-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan, an AC power supply and antennas. It is built for light industrial, digital signage and kiosk use.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint S400 is a compact, semi-ruggedized secure router for IoT networks. This part number, TBT3-0400-C6-LA-M, is the Mexico configuration. For U.S. and Canada deployments, use the North America SKU. Cradlepoint designed the S400 for light industrial sites, digital signage and kiosks. These are places where a small, reliable cellular connection has to run for years with little attention on site.

Connectivity comes from an embedded Cat 6 LTE modem with dual 4FF SIM slots and SIM-based auto-carrier selection. It offers peak rates of 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up with 2x2 MIMO through two SMA connectors. Locally, the S400 has one Gigabit Ethernet port (LAN/WAN selectable) and single-radio, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 with WPA3 support. It also has a USB 2.0 port and an expansion module slot for RS232 serial (DB-9), dual Fast Ethernet or a 20-pin GPIO module. Built-in GNSS supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou for asset tracking.

The hardware is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C and IP30. It meets MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration methods and is certified for Class I Div 2 and ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations. It runs on 9–33 VDC with reverse-polarity and transient protection, or on 802.3af PoE. An AC power supply is included.

The 3-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan provides NetCloud Manager for cloud management, group policies, configuration, troubleshooting and software updates. It also includes zero trust connect-and-go security and 24x7 support. Hardware carries a limited lifetime warranty while an active NetCloud subscription is in place.
