The Cradlepoint S400 (TBT5-0400-C6-LA-M) is a compact, semi-ruggedized, cloud-managed LTE router for IoT, digital signage, kiosks and light industrial sites. It combines an embedded Cat 6 LTE modem with dual SIM slots, single-radio dual-band Wi-Fi 5, a Gigabit Ethernet port, passive GNSS and an expansion module slot. This part number is the Mexico-market configuration. It ships with an AC power supply and antennas and bundles a 5-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan with NetCloud Manager, 24x7 support and a limited lifetime warranty for the term.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint S400 is a cloud-managed, semi-ruggedized router and secure appliance built for IoT networks. It suits light industrial equipment, digital signage and kiosks. This part number, TBT5-0400-C6-LA-M, is the North America: Mexico regional configuration. It pairs the S400 hardware with a 5-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan, an AC power supply and antennas. U.S. and Canada deployments use the NA-region part number instead.

Connectivity is built around an embedded Cat 6 LTE modem with peak rates of 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. The modem has 2x2 MIMO, two 4FF SIM slots with SIM-based auto-carrier selection, and two SMA cellular antenna connectors. Locally, the S400 provides one Gigabit Ethernet port (LAN/WAN selectable) and one USB 2.0 Type-A port. Single-radio, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 runs on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and supports WPA3. An expansion slot accepts a serial DB-9 RS232 module, a dual Fast Ethernet module or a 20-pin GPIO module. Passive GNSS covers GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BDS for asset tracking.

The S400 is designed for demanding sites. It runs from -20 °C to 60 °C and accepts 9–33 VDC input or 802.3af PoE. Its power input has reverse polarity and transient voltage protection. The router is tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration methods and rated for Class I Div 2 and ATEX Zone 2 hazardous locations. The unit measures 100 x 105 x 31 mm and weighs 221 g.

The NetCloud IoT Essentials plan covers the full 5-year term. It includes NetCloud Manager for configuration, group policies, troubleshooting and software updates, plus connect-and-go zero trust security. Support is 24x7, and the limited lifetime hardware warranty applies while the subscription is active. A NetCloud IoT Advanced plan can be added at any time.
