The Ericsson Cradlepoint S400 is a cloud-managed, semi-ruggedized router and secure appliance built for IoT networks. It suits light industrial equipment, digital signage and kiosks. Part number TBT5-0400-C6-NA-N is the U.S. & Canada configuration. It bundles the S400 hardware with a 5-year NetCloud IoT Essentials plan, an AC power supply and antennas.

The embedded Cat 6 LTE modem (3GPP Rel. 11) reaches peak rates of 300 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up. It uses 2x2 MIMO and two-carrier downlink aggregation, with dual 4FF SIM slots and SIM-based auto-carrier selection. The modem covers North American LTE bands from B71 (600 MHz) to B41 and B48.
