This bundle (FGR-70G-5G-DUAL-BDL-80912) pairs the Fortinet FortiGate Rugged 70G-5G-DUAL hardware with a 1-year FortiCare Premium and FortiGuard Enterprise Protection subscription. The appliance is a fanless DIN-rail NGFW with two embedded 5G modems, Active/Active dual SIM, passive GPS and up to 8 Gbps firewall throughput. The subscription activates IPS, anti-malware with cloud sandbox, URL/DNS/video filtering, application control, inline CASB, DLP and IoT security services for the first year.

The FGR-70G-5G-DUAL-BDL-80912 combines Fortinet's FortiGate Rugged 70G-5G-DUAL with a 12-month FortiCare Premium and FortiGuard Enterprise Protection (EP) term. It is aimed at industrial, utility, transportation and OT teams that want the hardware and a full year of security services under one order.

The appliance is a fanless, IP40, DIN-rail firewall rated from -40°C to 75°C. It is certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 for power substations, EN 50155 for rolling stock, and IEC 60945 with DNV Type Approval for maritime use. Two embedded 5G modems (Telit Cinterion FN990A28-HP) work with 2 Active/Active SIM slots and 8 external SMA WWAN antennas, and the unit carries PTCRB, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon carrier certifications. It is FirstNet Capable (5G) and supports T-Priority and Frontline. The FortiSP5 processor delivers up to 8 Gbps firewall, 7.1 Gbps IPsec VPN, 1.5 Gbps NGFW and 1.3 Gbps threat protection throughput.

The Enterprise Protection bundle includes IPS with malicious and botnet URL blocking, and anti-malware protection with AV, virus outbreak protection, content disarm and reconstruction, AI-based heuristic AV and FortiGate Cloud Sandbox. It adds URL, DNS and video filtering, anti-spam, AI-based inline malware prevention, data loss prevention, application control and inline CASB. Attack surface security covers IoT device detection, IoT vulnerability correlation and virtual patching, Security Rating and Outbreak Check. FortiCare Premium and a one-time FortiConverter configuration conversion are also included.

Wired connectivity includes 6 GE RJ45 ports with a PORT1-2 bypass pair, 2 SFP slots, RJ45 serial and console, USB-A 2.0 and MicroSD, plus BLE, TPM and digital I/O. Power comes from redundant 12V to 125V DC inputs; DC cables are not included. Fortinet publishes the FortiGate Rugged Series Data Sheet and a model-specific QuickStart Guide.
