This Trade Up package pairs the Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 ruggedized 5G router with a 6-year NetCloud Mobile Performance Essentials + Advanced plan. The R1900 is built for vehicles. It has an embedded 5G NR and Cat 20 LTE modem, dual SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, four GbE ports and discrete GNSS with dead reckoning. The unit carries an IP64 rating and E-Mark, rail and Class I Div 2 certifications. The plan covers cloud management, software updates and support for the full term. The hardware ships without an AC power supply or antennas.

The Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 is a ruggedized 5G networking platform that keeps vehicles connected. It suits public safety fleets, transit, utilities and field-operations teams. This SKU (Cradlepoint TU-MBA6-19005GB-GA, Getac 590GBL001672) is a Cradlepoint Trade Up package. It combines the R1900 hardware with 6 years of NetCloud Mobile Performance Essentials and Advanced service for all regions. The hardware is the 5G-with-Wi-Fi configuration and ships without an AC power supply or antennas.

The embedded 5G FR1 modem supports NSA and SA networks. It falls back to LTE Advanced Pro Category 20 outside 5G coverage and is rated for peak rates of up to 4.14 Gbps down and 660 Mbps up. It has 4x4 MIMO, dual 4FF SIM slots and CBRS Band 48 for private cellular. Carrier certifications include AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Public safety certifications include FirstNet Trusted, T-Mobile Connecting Heroes and Verizon Frontline Verified. On the LAN side, you get four LAN/WAN-switchable GbE ports, 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE 5.2, USB, RS-232 serial and GPIO. The optional RX30 managed accessories add four PoE ports or four GbE ports plus a second modem.

The R1900 includes discrete GNSS with dead reckoning, which feeds Automatic Vehicle Location systems. Security throughput is rated at 940 Mbps for the stateful firewall and IPS, with 20 concurrent VPN tunnels. A quad-core ARMv8 CPU runs Docker containers at the edge. The router runs on 9–36 VDC with ignition sensing. It is rated IP64 and meets E-Mark, SAE J1455, EN 50155, NFPA 130, MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and Class I Div 2 requirements.

The Essentials package includes NetCloud Manager, software updates and 24x7 support for the full term. The hardware carries a limited lifetime warranty while the subscription is active.
